• HRD Programmes : Personality Development and Communication Skill classes and Aptitude Development Classes are conducted from the year 2004. Each student has to undergo this training .
• Open House: The faculty, parents and student sit together to discuss the various aspects related to improving the academic and overall development of the student and suggest improvements. The strengths and weaknesses of the student is given due importance, in these discussions.
• Value Education Program: The present University curriculum does not include the development of the personality with reference to the education based on permanent values that can withstand the test of time. This is also a means of providing students with a philosophy of living, thereby facilitating their overall growth, development, and choices so that they may integrate themselves into the community with respect, confidence, and purpose as mentioned in the Mission Statement of the College.
Beyond class rooms
There is a wide spectrum of opportunities available outside the class rooms and these contribute a great deal in developing the overall personality of the students at UCC, with equal focus on academics as well as co-curricular activities. In our search for excellence, annual National Seminars and IT fests are conducted to bring together the best intellectual talent in the respective field.
Leading personalities from software industries and institutions visit the college at intervals and conduct seminars on topics related to Computer Technology.
MCA Association of students of MCA coordinates a number of activities like Resonance – an inter house competition meet, Infocruise an intercollegiate meet, social service programs etc.
