Three Day Scientific Computing in Python
Wokshop
A three day workshop on Scientific Computing with Python was
organized at U C College on July 29-31,2010 in association with FOSSEE Project IIT Bombay and
funded as part of National Mission on Education through ICT. It was guided and assisted by leading python
trainers (Mr Nishant Amuluru, Mr Puneet Chaganti, Mr Amit Singh Sethi)
representing FOSSEE project IIT Bombay.

One Day Linux Workshop Conducted by FOSS Cell
A one day workshop on Linux was
organized on Nov 4, 2009 by the
FREE SOFTWARE CELL jointly with
Indian Linux Users group Kochi Chapter. 30 Students of Ist year MCA programme
along with some faculties attended the workshop. The workshop was lead by Mr.
Sameer Thahir [Wipro technologies], Mr. Jay Jacob [Security Expert, Linux], Mr.
Sreenadh and Mr. Venkat.
